Another one of my baby planners just turned 1. It always amazes me how fast they grow up. Eleanor was in a much better mood than her 6 month session (which was too chilly for her). She was full of smiles today though. We had lots of fun with her and her big brother who was all about exploring in the forest. I’m so happy for this family and it has been such an honor to capture these memories for them.
Meet baby Lucca and her amazing blue eyes. Such a little doll. Unfortunately she was not in a smiley mood yesterday. She was busy pondering the meaning of life or wondering why we were all making silly faces, jumping around and acting all silly at her. Whatever it was, it didn’t get her to crack too many smiles. Dad even broke out his guitar and while she enjoyed the music, she was still little Ms. Serious. I’m sure she was smiley all afternoon for her parents to make up for it. She’s unbelievably adorable though, and it was so nice to meet her family!
I’ve taken most of the summer off to enjoy some family time. It was relaxing and we had a ton of fun, but I missed snuggling on babies. Luckily this sweet baby girl gave me my baby fix. I was honored to photographer her older sister’s newborn photos about 17 months ago, and even more honored to capture their newest addition. I couldn’t be any more happier for this sweet family and their adorable girls. So precious and beautiful. Rylee took a while to sleep for me, but she finally gave in =) It was nice to catch up with mom and see this family of 3 become a family of 4.
Meet sweet baby Kate. Just 6 days new and already capture the hearts of her mommy and daddy. She is absolutely perfect in every way. She came in so sleepy and we flew through most of her session. She woke up about 3/4’s of the way through and decided she needed to eat a little. It’s hard work being this cute! She took a little bit to fall back asleep but luckily in her parents arms she dozed off and were able to get some family shots. Thanks for coming to visit me “A” family, and thanks for the yummy cake pops! My girls were all smiles after those =)
What a beautiful weekend we had for the 4th of July. The weather was great, and no humidity. It made for a perfect time to for a maternity session. I met this sweet couple at my studio to do a few indoor shots and then we headed down to Yates Mill park to finish up the session. Not only was the weather cooperative, but so was the sun. We were able to grab some sunset shots – which are always my favorites. It was great to get to know this sweet couple and I cannot wait to meet their little one in a few weeks.
