Meet baby “G”. He was so excited to meet his family that he arrived into the world 5 weeks early. He was just a tiny 5 pounds when he came visit me, such a little peanut. He was a great sleeper, but it was a bit of a challenge to pose him since he was so little. Not to mention most of my hats were gigantic on his little head. I loved every second of getting to snuggle on him though. He was absolutely perfect in every way. Big sister was in school so couldn’t come to his session so there will be another sneak peek coming soon of them together. Sibling shots are some of my favorites so those are a must! Thanks for coming to see me mom and for sweating it out with me!
Look at the hair on this adorable baby boy! He is too cute and perfect in every way. He was a hungry little guy during our session and did lots of pooping and peeing but luckily he also did at least a little bit of sleeping for me. He even flashed me a big old smile so that made my day. Mom had told me before that she liked the colors gray, yellow and maroon so we incorporated those into our session today. Even though he didn’t want to do a whole lot of sleeping I think we got some great shots. Thanks for being so patient and sweating it out with me mom. Here is your handsome little guy.
Another one of my sweet newborns has just turned one! It seems like time is just flying by lately. Look at this handsome little fellow and his beautiful family. I used to work with his Dad and love the opportunity to get to catch up with him during our photo shoots together. They are such a fun family and I’ve loved getting the opportunity to watch their family grow. We spent a gorgeous Saturday morning down at Yates Mill park to capture this important milestone. This little man has just learned to walk so trying to capture him still was a bit of a challenge, but when I did he was always flashing the biggest, sweetest smile. I could feel myself smiling behind the camera just looking at him. It’s contagious! Of course big sister has a beautiful smile as well, it just took a little while for her to warm up to me. She was a great helper though getting her brother to laugh and help him walk around. She is definitely enjoying being a big sister. Thanks so much for coming to see me “H” family. It was great getting to see you all again and see how big the little ones have gotten. Enjoy your sneak peek!
Let’s just start by saying I loved this session. I already knew it would be a great session because this is such a sweet family I’ve had the pleasure of photographing and getting to know. Then add a beautiful spring evening and gorgeous light and it was just perfect. Mom and I have been talking about this session for a little while. I knew she was not crazy about typical maternity pictures but still wanted to capture this important time in their lives. So I really wanted to capture some pictures that would not only do that, but that she might actually love. This also really gave me the opportunity to shoot images that I like to shoot, or that I would love for myself. After taking them on a little walk off the beaten path and into a not so pretty looking field, we captured some amazing images. I cannot thank this family enough for not even questioning me but just trusting me. Big sister “AK” was such a trooper. She didn’t complain at all and was her usual happy self. You can tell she is excited about her new baby sister and is going to be so good with her. Thank you “G” family for another great session and for getting me excited about shooting again. I can not wait to meet your new addition!
So bittersweet! I love getting to see my newborns grow up, but that means time is just flying by! I spent a gorgeous Saturday afternoon with “JF” and his parents. They are such a sweet family and I have truly enjoyed getting to know them over the last year. This sweet boy is so stinking cute and has the most amazing blue eyes. He was so relaxed and quiet during out session. I think he was just enjoying the nice weather and maybe wondering what the crazy singing and dancing lady with the camera was all about. Thank you for sharing the past year with me and honoring me with capturing “JF’s” first year milestones.
