Meet baby “B”. He was probably the most vocal and spirited baby I’ve seen in a while. He is going to be one strong, independent boy – that is for sure. I wasn’t sure how this session was going to go. As soon as this sweet boy arrived he showed me how well his lungs worked and how alert he was. I knew I was going to have to work for this session, what I didn’t expect was for him to finally give in and actually get some difficult shots. I guess he just wanted me to work for them. Well I’m glad we didn’t give up, because the shots were adorable. Dad is a professional golfer, and also loves football so incorporating those two were a must for him, and me! I love to personalize my clients sessions so it was pretty important to me to make sure we did just that. I’m also glad that mom and dad were so helpful and supportive, and even encouraged me to put their sweet boy in a pumpkin, because he is the cutest pumpkin in the patch! I know the session didn’t go exactly as planned, and that we all were drenched in sweat by the time it was over, but mom and dad – I hope it was worth it. I sure think it was!
I got to spend a beautiful fall morning with the “G” family. Grandma and Grandpa are visiting from out of state and baby “L” recently turned 6 months so it was the perfect time to go take some pictures. Mom had seen pictures from Yates Mill and thought that would be the perfect location. It had rained earlier in the morning so things were a bit wet, but it actually worked to our favor since there was plenty of water coming over the falls. Both big sister and little sister were very cooperative and gave us plenty of smiles. Normally having 6 people in a picture can be hard as someone is almost always looking the other way, or blinking but this family did great and we got plenty of great shots. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek “G” family, and thank you for coming to see me again. I love getting to see your girls grow up =)
It seems like I just had a session with this blue eyed beauty. The last 6 months have flown by and now she is turning one next weekend. She still has those amazing baby blues, and now she has two cute little bottom teeth to add to her adorable smile. We met at the Raleigh rose garden to enjoy some beautiful fall weather and blooms. Mom brought along some balloons to celebrate the occasion and then we took some fall themed pictures with some pumpkins and an adorable smocked dress. She looked so cute in everything it was hard to narrow down her images! Here’s your sneak peek mom and dad! I’ll see you in a few weeks for your holiday session =)
Meet precious baby “J”. He was an absolute doll. I never even got to see his eyes because he did open them once in the 3 hours that he was here. He was passed around for an extended family session, and then with me handling him during his newborn session and not even a little wink out of him. He was a rock star! He slept through all his poses and was such an angel. I wish I could have kept him all day. I tried to keep his session simple, and then incorporated a few fall themed items. He was so absolutely perfect that I didn’t want to take away from that with too many props. Thank you so much for coming to see me and trusting me with “J’s newborn pictures. He will surely be loved and adored, I can’t wait to watch him grow up over the next year. Here’s a big sneak peek since you’ll have to wait for me to come back from vacation for his full gallery.
You may remember this beautiful, blue eyed girl from her one year session this past spring. She’s now 18 months already! As you can see she still has the most amazing blue eyes, and I would photograph them all day if I could! While planning for her photos mom suggested a local pumpkin patch for a seasonal photo shoot. It was such a great idea, and little “Z” had quite a good time exploring and checking everything out. She thought the pumpkins were balls so threw a couple, tried eating some of the corn, played with the flowers and just enjoyed a beautiful fall evening. She even put her Halloween costume on, which was perfect since she will be a pumpkin for Halloween. I must admit she was the cutest little pumpkin I’ve ever seen. Mom and dad live close by so hopefully I’ll get the chance to see this little pumpkin trick-or-treating in just a few weeks. Thanks for a perfect evening “S” family, it was so nice to see you all again and enjoy some fall scenery!
