The “L” family has a new addition to their family, sweet baby Bennet. They also have a 2 year old adorable son, Graham. Mom and dad decided this would be a great time to capture their family. For having a 2 month old and a 2 year old outside in November, this session went AMAZINGLY well! It could have gone wrong in so many ways and I am so thankful it didn’t! Instead we enjoyed the beautiful weather and just explored the area. I was thankful when dad contacted me and said he was less worried about getting the posed shots, and just wanted to capture his family as they are today – happy and enjoying their new addition. I truly loved this session and am having such a hard time narrowing them down. I’m just going to give a really, really big sneak peek because there are just too many cute ones not to share! Thank you so much for allowing me to spend a day in your lives “L” family. I truly had a great time and was so nice to see how genuinely happy and full of love you all are. Also a big thank you to dad’s sister for coming along. “Auntie” is definitely also loved and full of love and these little boys are lucky to have you in your lives! Having you there to help allowed me to capture more of those candid moments. Enjoy your sneak peek “L” family. I can’t wait to share the rest with you in your gallery!
I spent Saturday morning with the wonderful Prince family. It was another beautiful fall day. We have really lucked out with the weather this year! Their daughter led the way around the Arboretum and she led the session as well. She told us where to sit and when to smile, and who was going to go first. I loved it! I haven’t had a child so excited to take pictures before. Getting smiles out of her was super easy! I know mom’s goal was to get a good Christmas card picture and I’m pretty sure we accomplished that mission. I have lots of other choices for her, but these are some of my favorites! Thank you so much Prince family, I had so much fun laughing and getting to know you all =)
I spent this morning with the “H” family enjoying another beautiful fall day. They just came back from a Disney vacation so I got to hear all about it. Needless to say Holly had an amazing time and taking pictures definitely paled in comparison. I was upstaged by a leaf and a stick =) We still got plenty of great pictures though and I had fun getting to know Holly. I hope mom enjoys her sneak peek because not only does Holly wear a super hero cape but I’m pretty sure her mom does too. I just hope some day I can be half as crafty as her! Thanks for hanging out with me today and sharing your vacation stories with me.
Oh sweet baby Rylee… I had so much planned for you but you had other things in mind. I think someone gave you a heads up about all the crazy things I wanted to do to you – like stick you in a pumpkin since you were a little Halloween baby. This sweet angel was not a fan of being on her belly or wearing hats, and you all know me and my love for silly hats. So we moved to plan B, keep it simple and just capture her beautiful little self. That hair, the amazing eye lashes, those cheeks. Don’t think you got away that easy though, I will be chasing you around with a camera for many years to come. That’s the price you have to pay when your mom and dad are friends with a photographer. Oh how I can’t wait to watch you grow up and become friends with my girls. I’m already in love with you, and hope your mom and dad enjoy their sneak peek. Welcome to the world sweet baby girl!
This fall has been crazy busy. I’ve been booked with photo sessions every weekend and have had no time to take any pictures of my girls, well good ones at least. The pumpkin patch was a HUGE fail. My youngest refuses to sit and my oldest was in a mood that day. The one picture I have is actually comical. One is screaming and the other pouting. I’ll have to post it soon. Halloween was also a big fail. Again, my youngest refuses to wear a costume so the whole family (including my brother, his girlfriend, nanny and poppy) dressed up as the wizard of oz without toto. We made her put it on at least for one picture and she screamed. So me being obsessed with pictures has been quite disappointed with our own lately! Because of that, on our way to go pick up dinner tonight I grabbed my oldest and stopped for a quick 20 minute photo session. Finally some decent pictures. Now I’ll have to work up the courage to do the same with my youngest, forget about getting them both at the same time! Anyways… just wanted to share with you all a little bit of my own personal life. It’s been a while since I’ve posted any recent pics so here’s a bunch of my Olivia to make up for it =)
