Fall mini sessions | Raleigh family photographer.
I don’t shoot many families as I typically focus on maternity and newborns. In the fall I make an exception as it so good to be able to see all my previous clients again and how big they have all gotten. It was great to see Ms. K again. She was so much fun during her session and had me literally cracking up. She is full of spunk and personality and our session seemed to fly by. She is definitely one special little girl! I always enjoy my time with this family and their love for this sweet girl is so obvious, it’s contagious.
Wow, I just realized it’s been over 3 months since I’ve blogged. It’s not because I haven’t had any sessions, but rather too many and haven’t had any time. I figured I better start or I am never going to catch up. I spent a gorgeous and unseasonably warm Friday afternoon with this cutie and his family. I have been taking his pictures since he was in his mommy’s belly. Spending time with them is always a good time, and this was no different. He kept us on the move but at least stopped long enough to flash us an adorable smile every once in a while.
I finally had a baby boy in the studio after a long streak of girls. Baby “M” and big sister “Z” came to see me last weekend. Baby “M” slept like a rock through his newborn photos and was quite the little poser himself, especially when we did the natural pictures at the end. He was stretching and flexing for us. Big sister “Z” however was not so happy to see me this time. I just saw her a few weeks months ago for her 1 year photos. Those ended in cake which made her happy. Maybe I should have had some cake ready this time around because she was not having it. She was too busy running and exploring. Life with a toddler!
This family is so much fun to work with. We have known their parents for years and it has been such an adventure to watch them them grow. Boy was this session a work out. We were all over the place. With 3 under the age of 3 it was pure chaos. Plus my girls and husband were there to “help” out. Pretty safe to say it was more of a distraction than a help. I felt like I was herding cattle. We did still manage to get some great shots though. Here is a quick sneek peek of these adorable twins and their big brother.
I can hardly believe baby “E” is already 6 months old. It feels like it was just a few weeks ago I had her and her handsome big brother in my home studio for her newborn session. Mom had a couple of set ups she wanted for this session and boy did they turn out cute. I just LOVE the hot air balloon shot. You should have seen us trying to wrangle those balloons – they were HUGE!!! It was so great to see this sweet baby girl and her family again. I always have such a fun session with them. I can just imagine what kind of set ups mom will have in mind for her 1 year session!
