I had the pleasure of meeting the “A” family Friday. We went over to Pullen Park to enjoy some of the beautiful weather we’re having. Big Brother “C” was the perfect little model. He was even helping come up with some poses for him. He had the biggest brown eyes that I could have photographed all day. Little sister “P” on the other hand did not want anything to do with me, like most 18 month olds. What she was interested in was eating. Someone must be going through a growth spurt because she just wanted to eat. I couldn’t compete with her turkey sandwich =) Luckily I managed to steal a few shots in between bites. Thanks for coming out to meet me “D” family, I know it wasn’t an easy session – but I hope it was worth it!
Meet baby “L”. He is little brother to big brother “L”. I had the pleasure of meeting this family earlier this spring for their maternity session. I love being able to meet and get to know my clients before their newborn session. It feels like friends coming to visit me, plus I get a feel for what their style is and can personalize their session more. We kept baby “L’s” session pretty simple. We wanted to get some classic shots and some similar shots that big brother had done for his newborn photos. The session went great with both the family shots and the newborn shots. Baby “L” slept like a champ and was so easy to work with. I would have loved to have kept him all day but alas big brother had enough and needed to get home to nap. Thank you so much mom and dad for trusting me with your sweet boys. I loved getting to work with you all!
I had the pleasure of photographing this great family a few weeks ago. I’ve known them for quite some time now, but 2 years ago they moved back to New England. I was sad to see them go, but that is also where I call home so was happy they were able to move back to be close to their family. It had been a while since I’ve seen them. So much so that I almost didn’t recognize their son. He has gotten so big and is all grown up now. I’m so glad they were able to take time out of their busy vacation down here to see me, and more so to have been able to capture some family pictures for them. It was so nice to see you all again!
Meet “C”, he was one of my very first newborns. If you’ve been to my website then you’ve certainly seen this picture from his sessions. It is still one of my all time favorites, and all graces the back of my business card.
Adorable isn’t he? Well he is still adorable as can be, but now he is a year old! I can hardly believe that all my first newborns are now turning 1 already! Time is flying by. I feel so blessed to be able to watch them all grow up and be there for their first birthdays. I truly hold all of these newborn clients in my heart. I remember them all and am so happy when I get to see them again. Sweet baby “C” was no exception. Just look at how big he’s gotten, and check out those amazing baby blues. Swoon! I had so much fun seeing this family again and getting to capture this important milestone for them. Thank you so much for letting be a part of your celebration. I hope you enjoy your photos!
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, Nothing is going to get better. It’s not!

I’ve been waiting to do this shot for a while now. Cassie from Perfectly Sweet Creations made this adorable hat for me. I’ve been working on the Truffala trees and just waiting for the right baby to come along. This handsome little fellow was more than happy to be my little Lorax for the day. Mom and dad told me they wanted at least one shot “a little different, weird or crazy”. I hope this satisfied it.
