To say that this photo shoot did not go as planned is an understatement. You see sweet baby “L” also has an adorable older sister who wanted absolutely nothing to do with me. I mean nothing. Mom and I were hoping for some adorable sibling shots but it was just not going to happen. Instead we focused on precious little sister “L”. This was suppose to be the star of the shoot anyways. Look at those smiles, she had so many to share with us! She was such a cutie pie. We did manage to get a family picture at the end, but I’m saving that one for mom and dad!
Meet “C”. Tomorrow is his birthday. Mom and dad wanted to get some 2 year photos of him so we me very early this morning to beat the heat. Unfortunately it was still a bit hot and “C” was a little tired. We had fun exploring and looking for frogs. We got to see some turtles but no frogs. This is a hard age as everything is more exciting and interesting than me with a camera, but “C” seemed to enjoy my company. In fact he even wanted me to hold him most of the time, which unfortunately makes it hard to take his picture that way! Thanks for coming to see me, you were such a sweet boy and I had so much fun with you!
I spent yesterday with the “P” family. I couldn’t have asked for a better session. Besides having 3 ADORABLE little ones, mom and dad were so much fun. We were able to get some 6 month photos of their little ham “C” as well as his beautiful older sisters. Everyone even was great during the family shots. Big sisters were great helpers with getting smiles out of “C”, and being patient during the whole process. Mom and dad kept everyone relaxed and having fun and their pictures show that. There were so many great shots that I had such a hard time picking my favorites. You’ll just have to sit back and enjoy and extra large preview of this awesome family. Thank you so much for spending yesterday afternoon with me, it was such a joy to work with you all. I hope to see you all again in the future!
Sweet baby “L” came to visit me yesterday morning. I was working with a sweet mentoree who was down for Virginia for the day and I put out a casting call for a 6 month old to be our “model” for a session. “L” was the perfect model. She greeted us with those big, brown eyes and her beautiful smile. We kept the session really simple as I was teaching and going over camera settings at the same time. Mom and baby “L” were patient and so easy to work with. Thank you so much for coming to visit me, it was so nice to meet you both!
and that’s a wrap….
You’ll probably remember this brown eyed boy. I took his 7 month pictures last month after having to reschedule 3 times for the weather. Mom and I had talked at his session and she mentioned she’d like a lifestyle type session in the baby’s nursery. I love these kind of sessions! Little ones are often more comfortable in their own surroundings. Baby “A” was full of smiles for me this time around and he was busy showing me around his nursery. He is now crawling at full speed, standing, opening and closing doors and just plain old inquisitive. Unfortunately the one shot we did want was a crib shot, and as you can see from the preview he was not going to give us that. He was convinced we were trying to get him to nap and he was not done exploring yet! Thanks for welcoming into your home “R” family. I had so much fun spending more time with “A” and getting to see his real personality!
