Meet baby Wyatt. What a precious little bundle he was for me yesterday. He was so quiet, so peaceful and absolutely perfect. When he first arrived he decided he just wasn’t sleepy. We took some awake shots and then he finally gave in and entered into a deep milk slumber. He had the sweetest little smiles and I loved his fuzzy hair. Mom and Dad were so relaxed and pleasant, and it was hard to believe they just had a baby. They didn’t show any signs of being tired. They were a delight to work with. Thanks for coming to visit me “C” family, and for sharing your precious baby boy with me!
Look at this handsome fella! Sweet Jackson and his parents came to see me today, and boy did it make my day. I think is like my 5th or 6th session with this family, and I feel so honored to be able to watch their little family grow. While Mr. Jackson was not exactly feeling the session today, he still was cute as can be. He was busy flirting with my daughter and playing ball with some ornaments, until we busted out the cookies. Then he sat there perfectly still and let me snap away. I’m thinking I should have brought those out a bit sooner. I absolutely loved that mom brought along a little elf outfit, it was too stinking cute. Jackson didn’t quite agree with us though. The hat was a big no go, but we at least got some shots of him before he demanded we take the suit off. Hopefully he won’t hold it against us. Thanks for coming to see my “P” family, I wish you a Merry, Merry Christmas and hope to see you in 2013!
Meet the “E” family and their beautiful girls. With their newest addition of identical twins “M” and “L”, they now are the proud parents of 5 beautiful girls. Dads going to have his hands full keeping the boys from knocking down his door with this crew. We started our session with family pictures – with 7 people that is no easy task, never mind when 2 of them are newborns and a 21 month old. We took our time, made sure everyone was fed and happy and made sure we got the shots that will be treasured. It wasn’t easy, but it was so worth it. Luckily I had my friend and another amazing local photographer to come help a lending hand. We then moved onto just the twins newborn shots and luckily we started off strong! We knocked out their together shots pretty quick which is a good thing since after that at least one of them was wide awake for the rest of the session. I want to thank the “E” family for trusting me with their beautiful girls, and being so patient while we worked to get their shots for them. Your family was beautiful and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to meet and work with you all! Here’s an extra big sneak peek, for your extra big family =)
Someone is going to be a big sister! I spent Sunday afternoon with the “G” family. They are expecting a baby boy in the new year and big sister was definitely excited. She was full of personality and gave me her signature smile and pose, such a sweet girl! Mom and dad are into nature and hiking so we met at Yates Mill Park in Raleigh for their session. It provided a great backdrop to capture this exciting time in their lives. Special thanks to Nana for coming to help and keep everyone warm and happy. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek and I can’t wait to meet your little bundle in January!
We are lucky to call the “T” family friends and to have them in our lives. Their daughter is such a doll and my little ones love playing with her. I of course was thrilled when mom messaged me to talk about Christmas cards and family pictures – Yes please! Any excuse to see this little cutie again. Last time we took pictures this past spring she didn’t want much to do with me, she was too busy exploring and running away from me. This time however she was all about some smiles and poses for me, until she found a big pile of leaves. Good thing we got the shots right off the bat before we found those leaves! Hard for me to compete with jumping and throwing leaves.
