I was lucky enough to meet up with the “L” family again on a beautiful fall afternoon. We just had a session a short while back to celebrate their sweet baby boy’s 1st birthday. Now it was time to capture some updated family photos. The weather and scenery were beautiful, and so were the smiles. While getting 5 people (3 of which children) to cooperate and look at the camera is not easy task, we did pretty good I think! It was great to meet up with them again and enjoy and beautiful afternoon together.
Meet the “G” family and their incredibly handsome boys. We met at a local park last night to capture some fall family pictures and to celebrate baby “E”‘s first birthday. He’s having an Old McDonald themed party so Oak View park with it’s white barns and fences was the perfect setting. It was a bit chilly and we were losing light quickly so we had to rush through our session a little but we managed to get some great shots. Thanks for coming to see me again. I hope “E” has an amazing 1st birthday!
I love this family. Anyone who has been following me from the beginning knows this, and probably recognizes them. They have been with me from the very beginning, and stayed with. I’ve gotten to know them and their extended family and am grateful for the opportunity as they are such sweet people. Mom is super creative, artistic and organized. Every time she schedules a session I know it’s going to be fun. Dad is perhaps the best husband for pictures I have seen. He goes along with all our crazy ideas and does what ever it takes to get the shots. I am seriously thankful to you Z. for making my job easy, I know it’s torture for you =) I love the fact that you were even willing to change clothes to reproduce a shot we did at your maternity session, it was worth it. It came out great and I love it!
I headed on up to the “O’s” house in the wee hours this morning. We wanted to start our session with some lifestyle shots of baby “B” in her own surroundings. I LOVE when clients want to personalize a session like this. Baby “B” obviously enjoyed it too as she was full of smiles as she showed me around her room. We then headed down the street to a local farm where the birthday girls party will be held in a couple of weeks. It was cold and windy but we managed to get some great shots. I have to say a huge thank you to Nana who helped me get all the beautiful smiles you see below.
It was great to see you all again. I truly can’t thank you enough for including me in this journey you’ve both taken and for honoring me with the job of capturing it. I have loved seeing “B” grow up over the past year and getting to know you all both as clients and friends.
Hurricane Sandy has nothing on this family with 2 8 month olds, a 2 1/2 year old and a dog. Meet the “R” family. To say that mom has her hands full is an understatement. Luckily these three sweet babies were all little angels yesterday. Mom brought along some help to keep everyone happy and together, and we definitely needed it. Despite their being a hurricane off the coast, their pictures came out great. The foliage is beautiful right now and I’m so glad we decided to go on with our session as scheduled so we could enjoy it. While I know the session felt crazy and chaotic, looking at the pictures it seems like we just all spent a nice quiet afternoon at the park. Here’s your sneak peek “R” family. It was so nice to meet you all, and thank you for being so easy going =)
I woke up today and could not speak – at all. I completely lost my voice. Great for my kids, not so much for my session! How was I going to get the attention of a 2 year old and 2 month old with no voice?? To say I was nervous about this session was an understatement but with a full calendar I didn’t have room to reschedule so I braved it. To my amazement my hoarse, barely there whisper did not scare off big sister “S”. In fact by the end of the session we were off by ourselves playing Simon Says, although it was more like charades =) Needless to say the session went well and we got some great shots. Mom and dad were super understanding and helped me with getting everyone situated since I couldn’t communicate very well. You have such a sweet and beautiful family, and I’m sorry I wasn’t 100 percent today. I enjoyed getting to know you and capture this time in your lives for you, and I hope you enjoy your pictures!
