I got to spend a beautiful sunny Sunday with this sweet family. They are expecting a baby boy in just a couple of weeks, making “J” a big brother! When we arrived at the park “J” was sleeping soundly in the car. We took advantage of the time and did some alone shots of mom and beautiful baby bump =) Once “J” woke up we hurried up and took a bunch of adorable shots with him before he could figure out what was going on. As soon as he was wide awake and realized we were at a park, he was ready to play! We took out his ball and off he went, kicking, throwing and chasing it for the rest of the session. He is absolutely adorable and I loved chasing him around capturing him just being a little boy. He has the cutest hair and sweetest little face, and I know he is going to be a great big brother. Thank you so much for coming out and playing with me “L” family. I had so much fun meeting and getting to you, and I can’t wait to meet your precious little one in a couple of weeks. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek – I think we did a pretty good job!
Meet baby “L”. He is little brother to big brother “L”. I had the pleasure of meeting this family earlier this spring for their maternity session. I love being able to meet and get to know my clients before their newborn session. It feels like friends coming to visit me, plus I get a feel for what their style is and can personalize their session more. We kept baby “L’s” session pretty simple. We wanted to get some classic shots and some similar shots that big brother had done for his newborn photos. The session went great with both the family shots and the newborn shots. Baby “L” slept like a champ and was so easy to work with. I would have loved to have kept him all day but alas big brother had enough and needed to get home to nap. Thank you so much mom and dad for trusting me with your sweet boys. I loved getting to work with you all!
I had the pleasure of photographing this great family a few weeks ago. I’ve known them for quite some time now, but 2 years ago they moved back to New England. I was sad to see them go, but that is also where I call home so was happy they were able to move back to be close to their family. It had been a while since I’ve seen them. So much so that I almost didn’t recognize their son. He has gotten so big and is all grown up now. I’m so glad they were able to take time out of their busy vacation down here to see me, and more so to have been able to capture some family pictures for them. It was so nice to see you all again!
Meet “C”, he was one of my very first newborns. If you’ve been to my website then you’ve certainly seen this picture from his sessions. It is still one of my all time favorites, and all graces the back of my business card.
Adorable isn’t he? Well he is still adorable as can be, but now he is a year old! I can hardly believe that all my first newborns are now turning 1 already! Time is flying by. I feel so blessed to be able to watch them all grow up and be there for their first birthdays. I truly hold all of these newborn clients in my heart. I remember them all and am so happy when I get to see them again. Sweet baby “C” was no exception. Just look at how big he’s gotten, and check out those amazing baby blues. Swoon! I had so much fun seeing this family again and getting to capture this important milestone for them. Thank you so much for letting be a part of your celebration. I hope you enjoy your photos!
To finish off baby week here at KKP we have a beautiful baby girl. Meet baby “A”. She is the newest addition to the “J” family, and their 3rd baby girl. We started our session with sibling shots so that the new big sisters would have to sit around for hours waiting for their turn. They were amazingly sweet and so good for me! It’s typically pretty hard to capture great sibling shots, especially when there are 3. This however was almost too easy. It helps that they were all cute as a button. Sweet baby “A” slept through the whole thing, and then continued to sleep for another 2 hours straight for me. She was a little “jumpy” as she never got into that really, really deep sleep so we didn’t too many of the really posed shots as she would get a little jumpy on me. Just look at the head of hair on her, it was gorgeous! I couldn’t bring myself to cover it up with any hats so we just stuck to a few headbands so we could see all of that gorgeous hair. I had so much fun with baby “A” and her family. I am so thankful they came to visit me and trusted me with their precious little girls. Enjoy your sneak peek ladies (and dad)!
and a bonus one because every time I look at it, it makes me smile too. I hope she was having sweet dreams!
