Eeek! I can’t believe it has been so long since I posted last. I am terrible lately. The good news is that means I have been spending more time with my family – which is what summer is all about. I am loving having my girls home with me and seeing them. Miracle of all miracles they actually are getting along this summer and have become the best of friends – which brings me to this sessions. These two sisters were so good for their session and it was obvious the admiration and love between them. I’m sure it is not always like this, but it was so nice to see. I have been photographing them for years now and has been such a pleasure to watch them grow into the little ladies they are.
We got together this past weekend at the WRAL Azalea garden to get some updated photos. Since the last time I saw them, big sister has now gotten glasses. They make her look so grown up! She is becoming quite the young lady. As always she was so fun and full of personality for her session. She seriously is one of my best clients. She loves having her photos taken, and that makes my job super easy! Little sister also has grown and so has her personality. She had me laughing through her whole session. It was so great to catch up with these sisters again.
I don’t often do black and whites for family sessions but for some reason I was in the mood for some moody black and whites. Maybe because of the dreary weather today. Either way I love the way they came out.
Baby Tyler was in the studio this past November for his 6 month session. He is another one of my baby planners, just like his older brother. I have had the pleasure of photographing this family for the past 3 years. I love being able to capture their family as they went from 2 to 3, and then 3 to 4.
We started off the session with some family and sibling photos as it was Christmas card time! With two little ones it can somethings be hard, but it was a breeze. Both boys were in great moods and gave lots of smiles. I think they must have been in the Christmas spirit. We did some fun Christmas themed shots with Santa hats and some Christmas lights. After those shots we moved on to focus on capturing Tyler’s 6 month milestone photos. He was such a cutie pie with those big blue eyes and that sweet smile. Before we know it he will back for his 1 year session.
Such a sweet family, and sweet sisters. These two little ones were adorable. Little Sister absolutely adores her big sister and wants to do everything that she does. It was too cute to see. She didn’t even want her sister to have her picture taken by herself. Big sister was a great helper and so patient and easy – especially since she had a very important birthday party to go to right after her session – her party! Happy Birthday! I hope it was a great party and your Cinderella Cake was as beautiful as it was yummy!
Boy was it a chilly Sunday morning for our fall mini-sessions. It was cold and windy and this poor little one was quite a trooper. Her little nose was all rosy like Rudolph but she was pretty tough through most of her session. She even warmed up in the arms of mom and dad a few times and was able to give me a couple of smiles. She has a birthday coming up, so Happy early 4th Birthday “R”!
