I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful baby girl in my studio this week. Such an adorable little one. She had tiny toes and big beautiful eyes – which remained shut most of the session. I loved getting to snuggle with her and get to know Mom and Grandma during the session. We kept her session pretty simple, keeping the focus on baby and all her beauty. We did sneak in a few prop shots at the end with a little bit of color which is always fun. Thanks so much for coming to see me and sharing this little beauty with me!
The “B” family came to visit me in the my studio this weekend. They brought along this 9 and 1/2 pound cutie. Check out his cheeks, and that hair. He was such a good baby, so sleepy for us! Big brother also came along and while he didn’t want to do any sibling shots, he was so well behaved and had the sweetest smile and dimples. Dad is into photography so had lots of special requests and input for the session. It’s very rare that the men are so interested, it was a nice change of pace. Here is a quick sneak peek of some of the shots we captured yesterday.
What can I say to describe this newborn session – it was messy! Let’s just say there were a lot of outfit changes and this time they were mine, not the baby =) Check out this handsome fellow though – that hair, those eyes – what a cutie! Definitely not an easy session as Baby “P” really didn’t want me messing with him too much, I think he might have had a little bit going on in his tummy. He just wanted to be left alone with his paci – and good luck trying to remove it. He has some strong suction on him. Such a gorgeous baby though. It might be a good thing that he wasn’t all that cooperative. If he was I would have wanted to keep him in the studio all day!
Meet handsome baby “M”. I just took his parents maternity photos a couple of weeks ago. Good thing since this little guy decided to make an early appearance. I think he wanted to be here to celebrate his mom’s birthday with her. He was so good for his session, flashing me smiles and sleeping through the whole session. I was so happy to have in the studio and get to snuggle on him. Congratulations to this new family of 3!
Meet Baby “J”. He will be well protected by big brother Linus and big sister Lucy. I’ve had the pleasure of photographing this family for the 3rd time now. Getting to know them and their fur babies has been such a joy, and getting to watch their family grow to include baby “J” – such an honor. If I had to decide on which was harder to photograph – the 2 dogs or a newborn, in this case it was the newborn. “J” did not want to sleep for us. He was wide awake and keeping a close eye on us. Luckily we all waited him out and when he finally gave in, we jumped right in and moved fast. Even the pups were ready and did great after being so patient. I couldn’t be more happy for this sweet family!
