Meet Baby Max. What a great little guy he was! Mom and Dad wanted to have some fun with his session so brought along a few props. They brought a tiny pair of leather chaps for him, along with some Calvin and Hobbs items from his nursery. This is the second baby that I have had that has a Calvin and Hobbs themed nursery – and I love it! Hopefully Max will love it as he grows up as well. Lucky for me Max was pretty sleepy for his session and allowed me to incorporate all the props. He even gave me a few smiles and lots of funny faces along the way. Towards the end of his session he decided he better keep an eye on me so was quite alert and making eye contact with me. I got a bunch of awake shots of him making silly faces at me.
Baby Bodie and his family came to visit me last fall. As soon as I met them I could instantly see the love they had for this baby boy. Every time they looked at him the love was overflowing. They were not planning on taking family pictures but I encouraged them to get at least one at the end of their session. I am so glad I did because just look at those smiles. They all will look back on this picture in the years to come and remember just how happy they were at that moment in time.
Baby Bodie was such a sweet little thing. He was super sleepy for his session and let me do all kinds of poses with him. He looked absolutely adorable in one of my little Teddy hats. I think my favorite image from the session was the black and white of him in his Daddy’s hands. He just looks so tiny.
I truly am blessed with just how beautiful my clients are. Baby Nolan was no exception. He was the perfect combination of his parents good looks. He was a tiny little thing with the cutest little button nose and perfect lips. He slept like a dream for his session just letting me do my thing, looking good in every pose. I had such a hard time narrowing down his gallery as I loved them all. I think one of my favorites is a collage of his features. I love capturing each baby’s tiny bits and pieces. They are just so sweet and little. Having photos of them helps to remember just how tiny they once were.
I loved this sweet baby girl from back in December. She was absolutely precious in every way and such a good little sleeper. I had so much fun with her session. I always start my session with some neutral colors for those classic, timeless photos. Then depending on the client’s taste and style I personalize their session a bit to match their preferences and decor found in their home. In this case mom was not afraid of color and wanted a photo to go with the season, so we used one of my popular snow man outfits. I think Harper looks simply adorable!
I also try to always convince mom and dad to take a few photos at the end of the session. I know they are not always feeling the best or feel like they look their best, but they always end up loving them. You can’t hide the expressions of love that always come out as soon as they are holding their sweet baby and realize that this family of 2 has now become 3.
Meet beautiful baby “G”. She was my first newborn session for 2017. She was a tiny little peanut at just about 6 pounds. She was so petite and sweet I could have snuggled her all day. She slept great for her session and easily posed. I absolutely love the shots of her we took in baskets and all curled up. It truly showed how little she was. Newborns grow so fast, it really is special to be able to have these moments captured and frozen in time.
