Look at these adorable twin newborn boys that came to see me back in January! Mom contacted me back at the end of last summer to set up a newborn session for them and I had been excited to meet them ever since. Twin sessions can sometimes be challenging, so I don’t book many of them. I am glad I agreed to these two. They were absolutely adorable! We had a few challenges but for the most part they did pretty good. It’s always so interesting to watch twins and see how they differ and how similar they are. Lucky for me they are one of my baby planners so I will get to see them again at 6 months. I wonder how much they will have changed by then. I can’t wait to find out!
My poor neglected blog! I can’t believe how long it has been since I have posted. So many cute babies and families from last fall I haven’t gotten to. It is amazing how fast time and life goes by. One of my goals is to try to keep up with blog better this year. I have at least been a little bit better at posting on Facebook and Instagram.
Now on to the important things, like how adorable baby “V” was. Mom brought her in for newborn session at 3 weeks old. We were a little nervous how well she would do, but she was a little champ. She was still pretty small for already being three weeks. I can’t imagine how little she must have been when she was first born.
I finally had a baby boy in the studio after a long streak of girls. Baby “M” and big sister “Z” came to see me last weekend. Baby “M” slept like a rock through his newborn photos and was quite the little poser himself, especially when we did the natural pictures at the end. He was stretching and flexing for us. Big sister “Z” however was not so happy to see me this time. I just saw her a few weeks months ago for her 1 year photos. Those ended in cake which made her happy. Maybe I should have had some cake ready this time around because she was not having it. She was too busy running and exploring. Life with a toddler!
OMG! I don’t even know where to start. I think this session is one my favorite newborn sessions to date. I had so much fun with this session. Just look at her hair, those eyelashes, those lips! She is absolutely beautiful. I love the set ups and simplicity of the session. Sometimes I think too many props can be distracting and take the focus away from the newborn. I start all my sessions with simple, classic photos and then slowly begin to introduce props and color based on input from the client. I want their session to reflect their style and look great hanging up on the walls in their home. This session is contains so many great choices for some large canvases!
Thanks to mom and dad for bringing this little beauty to see me. I hope they love their photos and treasure them for years to come.
Another precious baby girl in the studio. Beautiful baby “L” and her big brother came to see me and boy were they amazing for their session. Big brother was so well behaved and cooperative. He absolutely adored his new baby sister. Here’s a quick sneak peek of their session. Thank you so much for trusting me with your sweet babies!
