After talking since way back in June, I finally got to meet Tori and her family this evening. What a fun time I had. They all were so easy going and fun to work with. Mom and Tori had planned out exactly what they wanted for the session and did a great job picking out their outfits and props. Tori had mentioned to me a couple times how her favorite color was “glitter”, so a glitter shot was a must. I have to say I love it, especially with a golden fall backdrop. This senior has her whole future in front of her, and I hope is filled with lots of happiness and opportunity. Thanks for sharing this special time in your life with me, and lots of luck to you next year as you begin the next chapter in your life!
This had to be my quickest session ever. 15 minutes before the sky opened up and poured down on us. I met with “B” and his mom in a park in downtown Raleigh. We were hoping to get some nice outdoor/nature type shots. Well what we did was end up hiding on some porches, under some trees and over hangs. We just had to make the best of the situation and grab a couple of shots for mom. Thanks for braving the crazy weather with me, and getting soaked!
My niece Alida is in town this weekend. Her brother came home from Afghanistan yesterday so she flew down to be here for his homecoming. We decided to head out for a bit and have a quick photo session. We’re calling it our trial run for her senior pictures next year. She’s grown up to be quite a beautiful girl.
I met Amanda and her mom yesterday afternoon and boy was it cold! The wind was blowing and it was damp but you’d never know by looking at our pictures. Amanda braved the weather and her hair looked amazing – even with the wind. Wait until you see those eyes – amazingly blue. I loved photographing them. I had fun getting to know Amanda and her mom and am honored they chose me to capture her pictures. Best of luck to you next year Amanda!
