Baby “B” – 2 weeks new | Raleigh Durham newborn photographer
Meet baby “B”, two weeks new and sweet as can be. Her dad contacted me this week to see if I could fit in a session for them. Luckily I took the summer off and we happened to be at home this week so of course I agreed. I can’t say no to babies! She made us work a little bit yesterday. She definitely fought falling to sleep, but luckily once she did give in she slept great. Such a sweet family, thank you for coming to see me and sharing your precious girl with me.
What a week! This was my 5th newborn this week. Talk about a baby boom. I have to say, this one took the cake for easiest baby of the week. She came in and slept through sibling pictures, family pictures and her newborn pictures. If I wasn’t so tired from all my sessions I would have kept her all day just to keep playing with her. Her 2 year old brother was also perfect for his session. Literally first shot of the camera of the two of them was a keeper. He was such a good listener and so well behaved! Such a great family and a great session. Here is a quick sneak peek, including a shot of day for Father’s day! Congrats to this new family of 4!
I will certainly never forget this beautiful baby girl. She originally came to see me Monday but she was not up for pictures – at all. We literally got like 3 pictures and then she started screaming – and pretty much didn’t stop. Turns out the poor thing has a lactose intolerance. We gave her a few days to work through it and she came back to visit me Saturday. What a difference! She was so good and slept so soundly. I almost didn’t believe it was the same baby. She had enough after about 1/2 an hour though, which is fine since we were successful at getting some great shots. Such a little beauty, and so much personality already. I can’t say enough good things about her parents either. Having a newborn is hard, having one with tummy issues and even harder but they both were able to laugh about it. They are going to make great parents for sure!
I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful baby girl in my studio this week. Such an adorable little one. She had tiny toes and big beautiful eyes – which remained shut most of the session. I loved getting to snuggle with her and get to know Mom and Grandma during the session. We kept her session pretty simple, keeping the focus on baby and all her beauty. We did sneak in a few prop shots at the end with a little bit of color which is always fun. Thanks so much for coming to see me and sharing this little beauty with me!
The “B” family came to visit me in the my studio this weekend. They brought along this 9 and 1/2 pound cutie. Check out his cheeks, and that hair. He was such a good baby, so sleepy for us! Big brother also came along and while he didn’t want to do any sibling shots, he was so well behaved and had the sweetest smile and dimples. Dad is into photography so had lots of special requests and input for the session. It’s very rare that the men are so interested, it was a nice change of pace. Here is a quick sneak peek of some of the shots we captured yesterday.
