I’ve taken most of the summer off to enjoy some family time. It was relaxing and we had a ton of fun, but I missed snuggling on babies. Luckily this sweet baby girl gave me my baby fix. I was honored to photographer her older sister’s newborn photos about 17 months ago, and even more honored to capture their newest addition. I couldn’t be any more happier for this sweet family and their adorable girls. So precious and beautiful. Rylee took a while to sleep for me, but she finally gave in =) It was nice to catch up with mom and see this family of 3 become a family of 4.
Check out this cutie and his head of gorgeous hair! He came to visit me this week and boy did he brighten up my day. He arrived sleeping, and he left sleeping. He only woke once to eat and then fell right back asleep. I didn’t even get an opportunity to photograph his beautiful eyes. I met with mom and dad before their session to get to know the a little better and their style. I love getting to know my families before the session so that way I can personalize their session even more. This couple was so fun and easy going and such a pleasure to work with. They truly made my job easy. Right after their session while I was working on their sneak peek my dog knocked a cup of water over with his tail on my Macbook pro. Not good. At the moment it’s still dis-assembled and sitting in a box of rice hoping it will dry out and work. Because of that mom and dad had to wait a little longer than usual for their sneak peek since I had to use my back up PC. Thank you so much for coming to see me, and for your patience. I hope the wait was worth it. Here is your handsome boy.
Baby “L” came to visit me this week. First shot out of the camera was a smiling shot. Great way to start the session, I thought I had it made. She however had other plans. She wasn’t in the mood to sleep at all, but I waited her out and she finally gave in. I think there must be something in the air because my last 3 babies have had no interest in sleeping while here. Luckily we made the most of the time she did fall asleep and got some great shots. Thanks for sharing your sweet baby girl with me!
Meet baby “M”. She was such a little doll baby. She slept like a champ for me for most of her session. She was a 9 lb baby and has 3 older brothers. I have a feeling she’s going to be able to hold her own. Mom is also a local photographer so it was nice to chat with her and have an extra set of hands for the session. Now she also doesn’t have to stress about taking newborn pictures. With 4 kids I’m sure the opportunity for a quiet house might be few and far between. Congratulations mom. Enjoy sweet baby “M”. I certainly enjoyed my time with her!
Meet sweet baby “L”. He was so incredibly sweet – and sleepy =) Babies are so funny and unique. It amazes me how different each and everyone really is. Most babies will not lie on their backs with legs crossed for more than a second or two before they start flailing. This little guy lied there still for what seemed like ever. But when it came to trying to put him in a bucket, well that was not going to happen. He’s a strong little man. I followed his lead and kept his session simple and peaceful. I enjoyed our time together and would have kept him all day if I could have, but mom and grandma would have missed him. Thanks for sharing your precious little boy with – I hope you enjoy his photos!
