Baby “C” answered my casting call last week, and boy was he the perfect model. He was sleeping when he arrived, and sleeping when he left. He never even made a peep. He modeled lots of cute hats and pant sets for me and looked adorable. Of course we also got some shots of just him and his natural cuteness. This bucket picture is without a doubt my new favorite picture. It’s simple, and perfect =) Thank you so much mom and grandma for sharing your sweet baby boy with me today. It was such a pleasure to meet you, and an absolute joy to work with “C”.
Time is flying by! Baby “J” is already 4 months old! He and his adorable big brother came to visit me today. They are both just too cute! I had so much fun with their session. Mom and I had been emailing about session ideas. She wanted to incorporate Valentine’s, teddy bears and Chinese New Year. Such fun and cute ideas and I think they came out great. Mom actually created many of the props like the cherry flower branches – those are actually all hand made paper blossoms. She also made some origami tulips – such talent! I still wonder when she has the time to this with two small children =) While this was definitely baby J’s session, big brother wasn’t going to be upstaged so he wanted to do some shots too, and yes he makes an adorable teddy bear as well! Thanks for coming to visit me and having fun with me today “L” family.
Meet baby “E”. He was 5 days new, but looked and slept like a 2 month old. His skin was perfect, he was healthy – and big! He was such a dream to work with. Mom and I had already discussed his session beforehand. Our goal was to keep it simple, classic and just focus on baby. I was completely on board and as soon as I saw baby “E”, it was almost a must. That hair, those rolls, that perfect skin. He was breathtaking! We started off with some family shots and some special shots with big sister “K”. She was so excited to be a big sister and have a new little brother. I hear she is quite the little helper. I hope they grow up to be the best of friends! Thanks for coming to visit me “G” family. It was such a pleasure to work with you, I hope you enjoy these memories we’ve captured.
I love this family. Anyone who has been following me from the beginning knows this, and probably recognizes them. They have been with me from the very beginning, and stayed with. I’ve gotten to know them and their extended family and am grateful for the opportunity as they are such sweet people. Mom is super creative, artistic and organized. Every time she schedules a session I know it’s going to be fun. Dad is perhaps the best husband for pictures I have seen. He goes along with all our crazy ideas and does what ever it takes to get the shots. I am seriously thankful to you Z. for making my job easy, I know it’s torture for you =) I love the fact that you were even willing to change clothes to reproduce a shot we did at your maternity session, it was worth it. It came out great and I love it!
I headed on up to the “O’s” house in the wee hours this morning. We wanted to start our session with some lifestyle shots of baby “B” in her own surroundings. I LOVE when clients want to personalize a session like this. Baby “B” obviously enjoyed it too as she was full of smiles as she showed me around her room. We then headed down the street to a local farm where the birthday girls party will be held in a couple of weeks. It was cold and windy but we managed to get some great shots. I have to say a huge thank you to Nana who helped me get all the beautiful smiles you see below.
It was great to see you all again. I truly can’t thank you enough for including me in this journey you’ve both taken and for honoring me with the job of capturing it. I have loved seeing “B” grow up over the past year and getting to know you all both as clients and friends.
Hurricane Sandy has nothing on this family with 2 8 month olds, a 2 1/2 year old and a dog. Meet the “R” family. To say that mom has her hands full is an understatement. Luckily these three sweet babies were all little angels yesterday. Mom brought along some help to keep everyone happy and together, and we definitely needed it. Despite their being a hurricane off the coast, their pictures came out great. The foliage is beautiful right now and I’m so glad we decided to go on with our session as scheduled so we could enjoy it. While I know the session felt crazy and chaotic, looking at the pictures it seems like we just all spent a nice quiet afternoon at the park. Here’s your sneak peek “R” family. It was so nice to meet you all, and thank you for being so easy going =)
