Meet baby “M”. She was such a little doll baby. She slept like a champ for me for most of her session. She was a 9 lb baby and has 3 older brothers. I have a feeling she’s going to be able to hold her own. Mom is also a local photographer so it was nice to chat with her and have an extra set of hands for the session. Now she also doesn’t have to stress about taking newborn pictures. With 4 kids I’m sure the opportunity for a quiet house might be few and far between. Congratulations mom. Enjoy sweet baby “M”. I certainly enjoyed my time with her!
Meet sweet baby “L”. He was so incredibly sweet – and sleepy =) Babies are so funny and unique. It amazes me how different each and everyone really is. Most babies will not lie on their backs with legs crossed for more than a second or two before they start flailing. This little guy lied there still for what seemed like ever. But when it came to trying to put him in a bucket, well that was not going to happen. He’s a strong little man. I followed his lead and kept his session simple and peaceful. I enjoyed our time together and would have kept him all day if I could have, but mom and grandma would have missed him. Thanks for sharing your precious little boy with – I hope you enjoy his photos!
I’m sure you remember these two cute identical twin boys. I did their newborn pictures a week or two ago. I got to spend part of my Sunday with them again to do some family shots. We decided to get some outside pictures to balance out their studio pictures and the weather couldn’t be more perfect. It was still challenge to keep everyone happy and sitting still, but we managed to get some great shots. Thank you so much for trusting me with your family, and for spending your day with me =)
Meet sweet baby John. He surprised his mom and dad by coming almost 2 weeks early. Now at almost 2 weeks old he was the perfect little model today. He was bright eyed and alert for almost an hour for me, but once we got him sleeping he slept hard. We wanted to keep his shoot simple so I just focused on all of his sweet perfection. I got to use my new 35mm 1.4L lens for this shoot and I am in love with it. It may not be coming off of my camera for a long time! Thanks for making the drive down from Wake Forest to see me today. I hope it was worth your trip =)
This first shot is my favorite from the session. Too cute!

Triangle Children’s Resource Guide is run by Michelle Fish. When I asked Michelle how TCRG got started, here’s what she had to tell me:
“Before becoming a mom of five I was a paramedic and after having my second child realized I couldn’t keep those hours anymore. My husband and I purchased Kid to Kid in Cary in 2007 because I fell in love with the concept of selling your used baby items. As a small business owner I saw a need for a simple to the point advertising outlet for kid friendly and mom based businesses that didn’t cost a fortune. As a mom I saw the need for a resource of fun and different things to do. I also wanted to have a kids eat cheap section to of course save a little when we go out to eat with all those kiddos. I also organize the Holly Springs Mommies Meet up group and the moms are always looking for something to do with and without the kids. So it just made since. My biggest challenge so far is working from home with the little kids, and of course them not understanding deadlines. Having to stop and look at everything every five seconds and making a simple phone call with out the receiver hearing my children yelling 🙂
It also features all the places “Kids Eat Cheap” in and around the Triangle.
