You may remember this family from their maternity shoot a few weeks back. They are now a family of 5 with two adorable boys! Big brother wasn’t too thrilled with the idea of pictures but we at least managed to grab some family pictures before focusing on the newest addition. Baby “N” was absolutely perfect for his session. He slept the entire time and then let me know he had enough of the session at the end when he wouldn’t surrender his pacifier any more without a fight. It is always such an honor when a family trusts me with their newborn photos, and even more so when they come back again!
Twining! Our good friends brought their twins by last month to get some updated photos of them. It’s hard to believe they are 9 months already! It seems like I just took their newborn photos. The session definitely was similar in some ways. One was always cooperative, and the other was off wanting to explore. Just like their newborn session. Was was sleeping and cooperative, and the other awake and wanting to eat. It’s no like, twins are hard work! Getting them both to sit at the same time and look at us was no easy task. Lots of laughs were had! I can only imagine how hard it will be once they are both walking! While it may be twice the work, it’s also twice the fun and love!
My second newborn of the year was baby “D”. He was such a handsome little man, and so loved. He has two big sisters what are thrilled to welcome a baby boy into the house. His sisters weren’t really enjoying the photo shoot experience. Sibling photos can be a challenge sometimes. Typical example of parenthood – the kids are in charge. You can control a lot of things, but sometimes there is just nothing you can do. A for effort! It was great to be able to see them again though, and it was obvious how much they do love having a new baby. They just don’t want to take pictures with him =)
Happy New Year! I welcomed Baby “C” into the studio this week as my first newborn session of 2016. What a great way to start the year as he was an absolute dream to work with. He has amazing hair, skin and features and was such a good little sleeper. He actually came on Christmas eve, so was the best Christmas present his parents could ask for. We kept the session pretty simple and organic focusing on baby. Mom did bring along the saree from her wedding however and I am so glad she did. I love how beautiful it is, and how it will now even carry more special memories for this family. Congratulations to this new family of 3!

Baby “M” was an absolute dream to work with. Her hair, her cheeks, her sweet face. I had so much fun getting to know her parents and capture this special time in their lives as their family grows. They even brought along their sweet pup Snickerdoodle who was also great for the session even posing with his new big sister.
