I never finished blogging my fall mini sessions. I have been photographing this family for 3 years now. I took their oldest daughter’s newborn and 6 month photos, and now also their youngest daughter’s as well. We used this session to capture milestones for both girls, as well as get some updated family photos for Christmas card season. The lighting that morning was gorgeous, but the it was rather cool. Baby sister was not feeling it and pretty much had a meltdown towards the end of her session when we were trying to recreate some photos we took years ago with her older sister. Even with the cold and tears it was great to see this family again.
Our nephew and his wife Sara are expecting a baby boy next month. They came up to visit us this weekend so we could capture this special moment in their lives. I took advantage of them staying with us and we did some in-studio shots, some outside shots and then some creative lighting shots. This was Sara’s first photo shoot and I have to say, I think she rocked. She’s 36 weeks and gorgeous -it made my job easy Here’s a quick sneak peek of some of your shots, thanks for letting me play and practice with some of my new equipment. I can’t wait to love on baby “T” and capture his first few days of life =)
Look at these little cuties! From the moment I saw them get out of the car, I knew we were going to have a good session. Mom picked out some super cute outfits for them and the girls rocked them! They were so cooperative and great during their session, I had so much fun with them!
What a beautiful fall morning to spend with a beautiful family! Baby “M” just celebrated her first birthday recently. I was honored to be able to capture some one year portraits for her, and now to capture some family portraits for the holiday season. Even though “M” had a cold, she was so sweet and full of smiles! I loved watching those big, baby blue eyes light up every time she smiled – which was often!
I had so much fun with this session, and this couple! Mom had her heart set on Yates Mill for her maternity session. It is absolutely gorgeous there this time of year so I was more than happy to oblige! It was cold, windy and gray – the effects of Hurricane Sandy. That didn’t stop this adorable couple from having fun and looking stunning. I loved how casual and relaxed they both were during the session. They were laughing and giggling and it is quite obvious that they are smitten with each other. We had a great time exploring the park and getting to know each other. At the end of the session we included their first baby, Riley into the pictures. What a sweet boy he was! Not only was he well behaved, but he was quite photogenic too! Thanks for braving the weather to come meet with me “S” family. I can’t wait to meet your precious baby boy!
Neat little fact – mom is due 12/12/12. I LOVE December babies, you can be I’m already planning that session in my head!
