This little cutie pie was an absolute doll for her session. She slept solid, never opening her eyes. She would make the cutest little noises while she was sleeping and just let me pose and play with her. I could have kept her all day, but she had a special visitor coming to see her today – her great grandmother. We’re going to get some family shots next week outdoors and hopefully if she’s still a sleepy head I’ll grab a couple more newborn shots of her in the woods. Thanks for sharing your sweet girl with me mom, she was such a joy!
This beautiful baby girl and her adorable big brother came to see me recently. Any parent with a 2 year old knows this is pretty much the hardest age to get photos done, then throw a newborn into the mix and it becomes mission impossible. We tried to do a few sibling shots but big brother just wasn’t having it. There are so many things to explore and do besides taking pictures so who can blame him. Luckily I had been doing some brainstorming on shots that might keep the interest of a 2 year old. Mission accomplished! While it’s not a traditional type of picture I think it’s adorable and captures him as he is at this age. Hopefully in a couple of years when he’s teaching little sister how to play with trains this photo will be even more memorable and meaningful.
Thank you so much for trusting me with your family. You all were so sweet and kind and I loved getting to know you. Baby “E” was an absolute doll and I’m still swooning over her little features and sweet demeanor. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek and are enjoying your new family of 4
Meet the “S” family. The “S” should stand for sweet because that’s what they all were! When mom contacted me she warned me that the newborn session may be a challenge as they have a 4 year old daughter as well as a 2 year old son. That is typically something us photographers may worry a bit about and I did wonder how the session would go. To say I was pleasantly surprised was an understatement! Everything went smoothly and everyone was so easy and cooperative. It was easy to see how full of love and happiness this new family of 5 was. We kept the session pretty simple and really focused on baby “G” and all of his newborn goodness. He was such a handsome little fella, just like his big brother. Here’s your sneak peek “S” family. Thank you for trusting me with your precious little ones.
Meet baby “H” – just 6 days new. She shares her birthday with my youngest daughter. She was such the angel for her session while she slept so peacefully. Mom brought along a couple of fun items to incorporate into her session including the bonnet in one of the pictures below. It was the bonnet her grandmother wore home from the hospital. I love that mom thought to bring it along, such a special memory. Mom and Dad are busy moving so I truly appreciate them taking time out of their already hectic schedule to come see me and allow me to capture their baby girl’s newborn photos. It was such an honor and pleasure. Congrats to this new family of 3!
Meet baby “S”, 10 days new. When I had spoken to mom she told me that baby was a big baby and very alert. Alert she was. I haven’t seen such alert and great eye contact in a baby this young. She literally tracked me with her eyes and followed me as I moved around. She was much too interested in what was going on to fall asleep. She did give in once, for about 10 minutes and allowed me to do a quick pose or two then she was back up again. We made the best of it and captured her true personality. Thanks to Mom, Dad and Grandma for sharing your precious baby girl with me, she is a beauty!
