We have been having non-stop rain the last two weeks which means lots of cancelled and rescheduled sessions. There is one benefit to this extra time – I am able to squeeze in more newborn sessions! While I would have loved to take this little beauty outside for some shots too, we kept it in the studio. We kept the session pretty natural with earth tones and then added some beautiful jewel tone colors in which complemented her perfectly.
This handsome boy surprised his mom and dad by arriving a month early, exactly like his big sister did 2 years ago. He also was born at the same exact birth weight. Pretty neat! For a 2nd baby he was such a tiny little peanut. He preferred to snuggle more than sleep or pose for the beginning of his session, but luckily once he fell asleep he let me do my thing. Such a cute little guy, I’m excited that I will get to see him again in a few weeks to take some sibling and family photos!
Look at this gorgeous family. They came to visit me this past weekend and were a pleasure to work with. Shooting a family session with a newborn and a two year old can sometimes be tricky, but this little man was great to work with. He has the greatest smile and personality and it shows. Baby brother did great as well. He wanted to spend the end of the session just snuggling rather than posing and I didn’t mind one bit. Such a cutie with that hair, those cheeks and the lashes. Thank you so much for coming to see me “B” family, and go Wolfpack!
I’m not sure where to even start with this session. I captured one of my favorite images ever. The raw emotion when this sweet family held their baby girl filled the room. Even I got teary eyed. She is such a little bundle of pure perfection, and boy is she ever loved. It was obvious just how smitten her dad already was. Pretty safe to say she already has him wrapped around her teeny, tiny finger. I couldn’t be more happy for this sweet new family of 3, and truly honored to have been a small part in capturing these memories for them.
Baby “B” – 2 weeks new | Raleigh Durham newborn photographer
Meet baby “B”, two weeks new and sweet as can be. Her dad contacted me this week to see if I could fit in a session for them. Luckily I took the summer off and we happened to be at home this week so of course I agreed. I can’t say no to babies! She made us work a little bit yesterday. She definitely fought falling to sleep, but luckily once she did give in she slept great. Such a sweet family, thank you for coming to see me and sharing your precious girl with me.
